The beach of Bakio with its 1 km length is the largest beach in Bizkaia. It is a beach break with nearly always surfable waves in its different spots, both rights and lefts. Since 2005 it has the ISO 9001 (quality) and 14001 (environment) certificates.

La playa de Bakio es la más amplia de Bizkaia, con 1 km de longitud . Casi siempre hay olas y suele haber varios picos para elegir. El fondo es de arena y hay alguna zona de roca. Desde el año 2005 ha obtenido los certificados ISO 9001 de calidad y 14001 de medio ambiente
Bakioko hondartza Bizkaiko zabalena da, kilometro bat luze hain zuzen ere. Ia beti olatuak izaten dira eta hiru-lau piku eduki ohi ditu, aukeran. Hondoa hondarrezkoa da baina alderdiren baten haitzak daude. 2005tik hona ISO 9001 kalitate agiria eta 14001 ingurugiro agiria eskuratu ditu.
